HEATHERS:  THE MUSICAL – Based on the classic 1989 film.  Westerberg High is ruled by a shoulder-padded, scrunch-wearing junta:  Heather, Heather and Heather, the hottest and cruelest girls in all of Ohio.  But misfit Veronica Sawyer rejects their evil regime for a new boyfriend, the dark and sexy stranger J.D., who plans to put the Heathers in their place – six feet under!  Writers Kevin Murphy, Laurence O’Keefe and Andy Fickman bring us his moving love story with laugh-out-loud comedy.  PG-13 – parental guidance recommended for young children.
Directed by Becky Arnall    ~~   OCTOBER 25-29, 2017

I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS – Set in 1941 this is the story of the faith of a family and a nation on the brink of WWII.  The music highlights the sounds of the 40’s, including swing, big band songs and lush ballads, with re-enactments of radio broadcasts of that time.  Book is by Deborah Craig-Claar with music by Mark Hayes.  This show is recommended for all ages.    Directed by Chet Fritz  ~~  DECEMBER 13-17, 2017

STEEL MAGNOLIAS – A comedy/drama about the bond that six women share in thishilarious and heart-warming story of life, love and loss in a small Louisiana town.  Written by Robert Harling, the title suggests the characters can be both as delicate as the magnolia flower and as tough as steel.  Recommended for all ages; however, small children may not find interesting.
Directed by Tegan Whited  ~~  FEBRUARY 14-18, 2018

GREATER TUNA –  The hilarious comedy about Texas’ third smallest town, where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies.  The eclectic band of citizens that  make up this town are portrayed by only two performers, making this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna — men, women, children and animals.  Written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard.  Recommended for all ages.
Directed by Lisa Green  ~~  MARCH 21-25, 2018

SHREK:  THE MUSICAL
 – Make room for the Ogre-sized family fun as the greatest fairy tale never told comes to life in this colorful, song-filled Tony Award-winning musical based on the
hit movie.
It tells the story of a swamp-dwelling ogre who goes on a life changing adventure to reclaim the deed to his land. Joined by a wisecracking donkey, this unlikely hero fights a fearsome dragon, rescues a feisty princess, and learns that real friendship and true love aren’t only found in fairy tales. Written by Jeanine Tesoro and David Lindsay-Abaire.  Recommended for all ages.
Directed by James Boone  ~~  MAY 30-JUNE 3, 2018
