The cast:  Rebecca Luebber, Tammy Barnett, Becky Seidl, Chet Fritz, Kenny Timbrell, and Jim Lile.

The show contains over 50 songs from the 1940s, including swing, jazz, big band, ballads, blues, comedy and a special medley of songs from World War II.  Presented in a cabaret setting, backing the singing group will be a musical trio consisting of Cecie Fritz, piano; Jerry Holcomb, bass and Damon Graue, drums.

Performance dates are February 8-12, 2012.
Reservations may be made by calling the JLT box office (417 623-3638) Monday thru Thursday, 9:00am-2:00pm.  Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

Description: Director Jade Leggott announces open auditions for the next production at JLT, the Arthur Miller classic, “Death of A Salesman”. Auditions will be held at 7:00pm on Monday and Tuesday, October 17-18, 2011 at Joplin Little Theatre.

*** Additional auditions will be held October 20, 2011 at 7pm ***

The story revolves around the the last days of Willy Loman, a failing salesman, who cannot understand how he failed to win success and happiness. Winning a Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Tony Award for Best Play in 1949, this play is considered to be one of Arthur Miller’s finest.

Ten men and five women between the ages of 16 to 50+ are needed. The auditions will consist of cold readings from the play. The director advises that all should be familiar with the story, or have read the script prior to auditions. Production dates are December 7-11, 2012.
